  Program:  Field trip  Teacher’s In-charge:  Siva Priya Miss & Vineeth Sir Date: 25/03/2022 Time: 7.30 a.m. to 9.40 p.m. As the part of B.Ed curriculum practical work EDU 101.3 – Art & Aesthetics education, we students of Natural Science, Physical Science and English optional were allotted  to visit the Planetarium, Zoo and Art gallery. We all had our breakfast in the Indian coffee house hotel, all were thrilled to move on to the destination. We started by 7.30 a.m. We enjoyed a lot singing and dancing for the songs played in the bus.  Firstly we visited the Planetarium, It was filled with information related to Planets, stars, ancient civilizations ,batteries, electricity systems, Robotics and much more .In Sky theatre we could feel the real effect of moving through the galaxy, earth and felt a great experience to see the 3D visuals.   Program:  College Union & Arts club Inauguration - Dheeksha 2K22. Date: 24/03/2022 Time: 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. College union & Arts club inauguration was  organized by the Union members and Ist year B.Ed. students of our college. The Chief Guests was Ms.July, asst.prof, Govt college for women and Arts club was inaugurated by Anunand, artist. The programmes were fully entertaining with melodious songs, energetic dances and fun filled games. The programme strated with prayer ,followed by inaguration, speech and poem recited by July ma'am. Rev.Zachariah Ramban shared his valuable, thoughts and wished us. After the formal speech of respected Principal Sir,Riju Sir and Anunand ,the informal sessions of each department wise started. All enjoyed the events , then a vibrant and mesmerizing band was presented by Mr.Anunand and team.

  Program: Art's day 2022 Day 1 & 2 (Literary Events)-Time: 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. [15/03/2022 &16/03/2022] Day 3 & 4 (Cultural Events)-Time:  9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.  [17/03/2022 &18/03/2022] College Art's Day had been organized for 4 days as mentioned above for literary & cultural events. The programme started with lighting of lamp and by the blessing of Ramban Zachiria Achan and his valuable thoughts. Hari Sir, Riju Sir and Leena ma'am shared their views and spoke about the importance of Arts and cultural events. The 1st year & 2nd year B.Ed students were divided into three houses, named as Hamsadhwani, Chakravakam and Hindholam. I was a member of the team Chakravakam. I participated in two group events "Best out of waste" and Deshabhaktiganam, we got 1st prize in both the events.   We have achieved the overall championship. We are the winners. Our house Chakravakam won the trophy. We all were so happy and excited. We enjoyed a lot....

  Program:  Workshop-Art Education Practicals Resource Person:  Mr. GopalaKrishnan Date: 15/03/2022 Time: 9.45 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The main topics covered and discussed in the workshop are as follows: - 1.Importance of Art and craft in teaching-learning process. 2.Improving the quality of a teacher using effective artistic strategies. 3.Learn to create teaching material by using re-usable materials.   As a part of art education practical work today a  workshop was organized. It was  interactive, effective and interesting. Riju sir started with introduction of the resource person, then Gopala krishnan Sir demonstrated how to create simple items like puppets, flower, ball etc with tissue paper,craft paper ,string and paper cups followed by giving simple activities.Sir’s friendly & humour filled way of teaching approach was good, importance of simple teaching aids to develop self-confidence was also mentioned.  

  Program:  Pi-day program Date: 14/03/2022 Time: 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. The 1 st & 2 nd year mathematics optional students organized the Pi-day on 14/03/2022, under the guidance of Prof. Leena Vahid ma’am. Principal Sir expressed his views related to the importance of mathematics in the world. As usual the program was organized well, the programs were entertaining and fun filled. Musical events, quiz programs were there.   

  Program:  Women’s day celebration 2022 Time: 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. International women’s day celebration was conducted on 08/03/2022 in our college. The Chief-Guest was Dr.Rajini Athmaja from DB college,Sasthamcotta. Programme started with the formal session, Rajini ma’am inaugurated the function and shared her thoughts and experiences. Our Principal sir also shared his views. College canteen was also inaugurated. Then   various programmes department wise was conducted. It was entertaining and we all enjoyed it.    

      Program:  Peer Observation –B.Ed IInd year. Student teachers:  Ms.Thasleema , Ms.Liya.R &Mr.Abin G.Raju. Time: 11.45 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. On 02/03/2022 peer teaching observation session was conducted. We got the opportunity to observe 3 student teachers class of II nd year B.Ed peer teaching session, as a part of our practical session. Three of them have put effort to present the content in activity-oriented way, Fun filled manner, lots of games and it was learner  centered  way of teaching, concept were made clear as simple to complex. It was a good and useful experience to view the classes as the three teachers were able to teach with real life examples, charts etc. All of them inculcated technology in class, presented videos and made sure that there was the active presence and participation of students. They asked questions and gave reinforcement to encourage the students.
